Furry Friend Tag!

Hello!

I'm sorry I haven't blogged in ages! School has been very busy and to be perfectly honest i've been having writer's block so if you have any suggestions of posts i should do, feel free to comment them down below.

Today I'm going to being doing the Furry Friend Tag as I've seen a few people doing this and i think it looks a lot of fun.

1. Whats your pets name?
My dog is called Macy

2. What kind of pet is it and what breed?
She's a dog and she's a Shih Poo - cross shih tzu cross toy poodle

3. How long have you had your pet friend?
a year and a half

4. How did you get your pet?
Well i've wanted a dog for ever, but my dad was never really a massive fan of the idea. Although me and my mum started looking and looking at different kinds of dogs and dogs for sale around us. Then we found an ad for these dogs and pretty much kept mentioning it to my dad, so he eventually gave in and let us visit them and then we fell in love.

5. How old is your pet
a year and a half, she was born on the 21st of June

6. What are some quirky things about your pet?
haha well one thing is anytime i'm on a walk with her she will bark at a big dog but she will never bark at a smaller dog or a dog the same size of her she seems scared of them, haha.

7. What does your pet mean to you?
Everything!, seriously I really don't know what I'd do without her  she is always there when i come home from school always sitting next to me when I'm on my laptop. I just love her.

8. What is your favourite past times with your pet?
Of course the day we got her but also when we came back from the first holiday we went on while Macy was here and we came back to pick her up. She saw us and just got so excited and it was so cute!

9. What are nicknames that you call your pet?
she hasn't really got any nicknames boring i know! we just call her Macy or Mace

So thats all for this tag! I hope you enjoyed reading and if anyone would like to do this tag please feel free to link your post below and I'll be sure to check it out!

How Long Does It Last? | O.P.I Green-Wich Village

Hello!

I'm planning to a series of posts like this where I show my nail polish from the start to end. I will be posting a picture every week of the same nail polish on my nails for around 3-4 weeks so you can see how well the polish actually lasts and how much it chips. So the first Polish of these series is O.P.I Green-Wich Village which as you can see is a lovely green. I applied O.P.I's Base Coat then two coats of Green-Wich Village Polish and then finished it off with O.P.I's Top Coat.

I hope you enjoy these series of posts and please comment below any brands of polishes you would like me to try out and do a series on.

Empties

Hello! , I apologise that I haven't posted for a while but as I am back at School I haven't had a chance to do any posts as I have a lot of homework and studying to do, but as I love Blogging I'm going to try to post either on a Saturday or Sunday and if I have time do a few and Schedule them for the next week!

So on to today's post!

Skincare

Deep Cleansing Facial Wipes - Nothing Special about these wipes not really amazing but there cheap and I use them before I wash my face to get most of my makeup off.

Tea Tree Water - I really like this toner, I don't usually have enough time in the morning to wash my face properly so I usually spray a bit of this onto a cotton pad and then wipe it all over my face before applying my moisturiser but as it has run out instead of buying a new one I actually just bought 2 Tea Tree Toner tabs and I'm just going to steam my face with them both (I will use both so the water is stronger) and then put the water into the black spray bottle. - £3.95 for 100ml

Clinique clarifying lotion 2 - I love this stuff! It cleared up my skin almost instantly and I'm really sad to see it gone. I used this in the Morning and at Night I just poured a little on a cotton pad and wiped it all over my face focusing on my problem areas,  I really would love to get a bigger bottle of this! - £16-£25

Lush Grease Lightning - This gel formulated product is great to dry up any spot you have. I used this product overnight as it a clear gel like formula and in the morning my spot is noticeably smaller. - £5.95

Cosmetic Warrior Fresh Face Mask - I was a little disappointed with this product as the other times I've used it I've really like it. I will say after I wash it off it did leave my skin really soft but I bought it for it to help reduce my blemishes but I didn't feel it did. - £5.95

Fragrances

Brittany Spears Fantasy Perfume - This perfume scent is described as a 'Succulent top notes of red lychee, golden quince and kiwi quench the skin, before a playful heart of cupcake, star jasmine and white chocolate orchid tease the senses. The warming, seductive dry down of musk, orris root and woods embrace the skin.' This used to be my favourite scent of all time I don't love it as much as I used to but I think it is quite a nice smell but I do think scents are a very personal thing and I would recommend smelling any perfume before purchasing them.

Soap & Glory Glam-A-Lot - Oh I do love Soap & Glory scents. This smells so good! I will defiantly be getting this again. I got this in a set of three for my christmas last year It came with this one and the two other Body Mists Soap & Glory do. -£6.50 or £8.50 for Gift Set of all 3

Soap & Glory Mist You Madly - Another great smelling product from Soap & Glory I used to carry
this around in my bag at school as It was a perfect size and I loved the smell of it. I remember anytime I would spray this on the bus (I get a bus to school) someone would always compliment the scent. - £6.50 or £8.50 for Gift Set of all 3

Hair

Love Peace and the Planet Conditioner - This is a really nice conditioner it really nourishes your hair and gives it a nice shine and I really like the smell. - £5.88 on Amazon

I hope you enjoyed this post and please comment below with any posts you would like to see.

Hair Dilema?!

Hello!

I've just been reading zoella's blog post about her ombre hair and it has reminded how much I would love to have hair like that. I'm getting a little bored of my hair so I thought it would be a great way to change my hair a bit unfortunately I have blonde hair and I'm to scared to dye it brown then ombre it.

I have had my hair dip dyed pink before so I will insert a picture of that below so you can how that looked and also I have very straight hair and I love curls again something like zoe's hair. (I love zoe's hair if you haven't guessed already) So I was considering a perm not a tight perm just a loose perm I will also insert pictures below.

If you don't know what ombre is this is a picture of zoe's ombre hair.
Picture from http://schoee.blogspot.co.uk

So this is my dilemma do I-

Ombre my hair and just have it an even more lighter blonde?

 Reverse Ombre?
  Perm with Ombre?

Perm with Reverse Ombre?
Perm?
Leave Hair How It Is?

My Hair Dip Dyed Pink Although in This Picture it had faded and maybe a perm like this?

 Reverse Ombre

What should I do? Have any of you had Ombre hair or Perms? What is your experience?

Review: EOS Smooth Sphere Lip Balm

Hello!

I got a request to do a review on the EOS Smooth Sphere Lip Balms so thats what I'm going to be doing today

I have 3 EOS Spheres Sweet Mint, Lemon Drop and Summer Fruit
Sweet Mint | Lemon Drop | Summer Fruit

I got all mine while I was on holiday Sweet Mint and Summer Fruit this year Lemon Drop last year, but you can now order them online worldwide. I've never ordered any online so I'm not sure what the service is like but there is probably plenty reviews about the service.

All the EOS Sphere Lip Balms come in this cute kinder egg like container and there all a different colour to represent the flavour of the Balm. (Lemon Drop is yellow i.e. Lemons, Sweet Mint is a Mint Green colour i.e. Mint and Summer Fruit is a Red i.e. Summer Fruits (Berries))

On the right you can see that Lemon Drop is a very different shape because I have had this one for a year now. I've only used Summer Fruits a couple of times so this is pretty much how they look when you get them and then eventually it turns a bit like what you see on the right. I feel like when you use them more they become much more moisturising and they give you more of a shine on the lips when you first apply them compared to when you first get them.

None of the EOS Smooth Sphere Lip Balms are tinted which some people may prefer but I guess it would be nice if they have maybe had one or two that were tinted.

Overall I'm a big fan of the 'EOS Smooth Sphere Lip Balms' and I will definitely be repurchasing them. You can get them from the EOS website for $3.29 and they have 6 different flavours to chose from Lemon Drop, Summer Fruit, Honeysuckle Dew, Sweet Mint, Strawberry Sorbet and Medicated Tangerine.
They currently ship to destinations in the US, Canada, United Kingdom/Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Mexico but zuneta.com ships internationally although it is £5.95 for a EOS Smooth Sphere Lip Balm.

I hope you enjoyed this post

My July Favourites!

Hello!

Today I'm going to be talking about my July Favourites! I was debating if I should call this post my July Favourites or  My Current Favourites because I'm not exactly sure if I will be doing a Favourites Post each month because I usually like the same few products for a good 2 months or so. So I'm not promising a Favourites Post each month.

July Favourites!

Bed Head TIGI Superstar Shampoo & Conditioner for Thick Massive Hair

I love these! For one they smell great, personally I think the Shampoo smells like Strawberry Calpol and the Conditioner smells similar. They do what it says on the bottle it gives you gorgeous Thick Massive Hair and every time I use these my side fringe always sits perfectly afterwards. I also love the pink  packaging! I got mine from TK Maxx which always have higher end haircare for great prices but they don't always have the same things in, so really its a hit and miss but you should really check out TK Maxx because they always have some great Hair Care ranging from TIGI, Macadamia and Toni & Guy.

                         Clinique Clarifying Lotion

Great, Easy and Quick Results! I have the lotion in 2 and I actually stole this off my mum because she never used it and luckily we have the same skin type. I'm pretty lazy with my skincare as I don't often like sticking my head over the sink and washing my face because I end up soaking the whole bathroom (am I the only person that is not able to keep the water in the sink!?) So usually I will use makeup remover wipe, eye make up remover some toner and if my skins lucky moisturiser. So for me this is great and I saw results very early on, at the time my skin wasn't its nicest but after 2-3 weeks it was much better. Unfortunately I have finished the bottle but I'm
definitely going to be buying another! - Cliniques Website!

High Beam by Benefit

Oh my I do love this! I have the mini high beam that I got from a mini set called Full Glam Ahead! which I bought from Sephora while I was on holiday! You gotta love mini's. I do love this though it gives you a lovely glow, I like to apply this on my cheekbones and a little on the bridge of my nose, cupid bow, inner eye corner (whats that bit called again aha) and my brow bone.

                   Collection 200 Lasting Perfection Concealer

The famous concealer and it deserves all the hype! It is an amazing Concealer. I use this for under my eyes as I have really bad dark circles. I use shade 1 - Fair. - You can get this from Boots for £4.19

O.P.I  Polish Remover

Do you ever hate when you get that cheap Nail Polish Remover that was only 99p but you have to use one cotton pad for each nail? Well not this one I know this is not a cheap 99p nail polish remover but its worth it! At the most you need 2 cotton pads soaked in the polish remover for both of your hand and your done. It leaves your nails feeling smooth and soft and when it drys it doesn't smell of horrible polish remover. You can buy this from ebay and various other sites but on BeautyBay.com it costs £6.10 for the 120ml.

Victoria's Secret Fragrance Mist in Secret Charm

This for one smells great and its also a easy great mist just to spritz on before you leave the door. Victoria's Secret has lots of different fragrances to chose from but my favourite is Secret Charm "a bright bouquet of fresh honeysuckle captivated by soft jasmine." - Victoria's Secret Website - You can buy these from Victoria's Secret for $12, 3 for $25 or 5 for $30

Coralista Blush By Benefit

This Coral Blush is a Gorgeous colour that I sweep onto the apples of my cheeks everyday! I do really love this blush. You can buy this for £23.50 from Benefit.

Nivea Milk & Honey Lip balm

I apply this lip balm before I go to bed and while doing my makeup to keep my lips moisturised before I apply Lipstick (yes I have started experimenting with lipsticks) or sometimes I just wear the balm. I prefer Lip balms in a stick form rather than a pot because I feel its much easier to apply and I hate getting my fingers all lip balmy? So this is great for my I do recommend the Nivea lip balms as they are very moisturising. You can get them at most supermarkets for around £2 - £3.

Maybelline the Mega Plush Volum' Express Mascara

Another well spoken about product on blogs and youtube in America. Unfortunately you can not buy this in the UK just now but you can in the U.S (where I bought mine) This Mascara give your lashes amazing Volume and Length. I think Maybelline has the best drugstore mascara's and this is one of them. I think you can buy this in the U.S for around $7 $8 in CVS and places like that.

Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in 090 Sweet Tart

This is a gorgeous colour for people that want to try a bright lip but are still a bit shy because you can build it up to be bright or you can keep it nice and light. I would call this a Bright Warm Pink but there are lots of different colours to choose from. You can buy these from Boots for £7.99

I've also been enjoying listening to Wiley | Heatwave feat. Ms.D I can understand why some people may hate this song but I think its a great song to sing along with your friends and have a wee dance.

I've also been enjoying watching youtube videos of people doing beauty swaps this is when two people send packages full of products that the other may not be able to get in there country. I would love to be able to do this with someone especially someone from the U.S because a lot of there products you can't get where I live.
I hope you enjoyed reading my July Favourites and please comment below what some of your favourites are this month and anything else you would like to say I do love reading comments they are well appreciated:)

love Emily xx
